American Ballet Theatre (ABT) NTC Certified Training by Certified Teacher & Official Assessments at Our Studio

【ABT Curriculum & Year-End Exams】

Why This Matters

Ms. Aya Tajimi who is the owner and American Ballet Theatre (ABT) NTC Certified Teacher since 2022 with instruction from Pre‑Primary through Level since 2022. Each lesson is designed for developmentally appropriate progress, blending technical excellence with character-building.

Year‑End Assessments (Ages 5+)

  • Held annually at the end of the school year

  • Optional but strongly recommended

  • Evaluated by official ABT faculty who visit our studio

  • Students receive an official certificate and written evaluation

These certificates serve as official documentation of achievement—ideal for college applications, audition portfolios, and academic records.

Sample: Mona’s ABT‑JKO Certificate from 2023

Growth Beyond Ballet

Students gain:

  • Refined body coordination

  • Enhanced discipline and confidence

  • Presentation and self-care

  • Skill in setting and achieving short-term goals

Perfect for those who prefer a structured, meaningful path without competing.

Key Timeline

  • Assessment date to be confirmed and announced later in the season

Hero Interview: Student Voice from the Studio

Mona T. Passed Primary-B in 2023

Q. What did you feel when you completed the ABT assessment?

“At first I was nervous, but I felt proud when I finished. I had practiced so much with my teachers, and when the ABT faculty gave me feedback, it made me want to work even harder. I was happy to get the certificate—it showed how far I had come.”

Our Missions

【Mission 1】

We provide comprehensive ballet education and personal guidance starting from early childhood.
Everyone can become a beautiful dancer—with the right training and instruction.
But ballet is more than just dancing.
From the moment we step into the world of ballet, we become part of a timeless art form, with roots in the Renaissance.
To truly succeed in ballet—and in life—one must develop not only technique, but also dignity, musicality, elegance, empathy, and teamwork.
These qualities build inner beauty that radiates outward.
At Eastchester New York Ballet, we help students grow into confident, well-rounded individuals—on and off the stage.

【Mission 2】

We are committed to enriching our local community through the power of art.
Our dancers perform at hospitals, schools, and senior centers, and we invite children to experience ballet through free theatre events and outreach programs.
Through these efforts, we hope to share the joy and healing power of ballet with everyone.

【Mission 3】

We strive to be a truly holistic ballet school.
As students grow, they may face challenges unique to ballet—such as physical changes, self-comparison, or competition stress.
We support each dancer and their family with care and resources, working alongside professionals to foster long-term well-being.

  • Nutritional guidance from certified experts

  • Mental wellness and mindset training

  • Personal coaching and support sessions
